These toys are made from upcycled cloth. The social enterprise making these is located near a textile city in Northern India where upto 30% of fabric goes waste during the production cycle itself. This amounts to 17 million tons of fabric waste every year. Not only does this help many of the factories manage their waste but it contributes to social upliftment by creating jobs for rural women in nearby villages. Their most heart-warming story is one where this job enabled a 70 year old lady, Chota Devi, to learn the alphabet for the very first time in her life. Dreaming is not age confined.
