These Ornaments are crafted from upcycled fabric offcuts. The social enterprise behind them is based near a major textile city in Northern India, where up to 30% of all fabric is wasted during production. This amounts to an astonishing 17 million tons of textile waste every year.

By transforming these leftover materials into high-quality Ornaments, the initiative not only helps local factories manage their waste more responsibly but also creates meaningful job opportunities for rural women in nearby villages.

One of their most heart-warming stories is that of 70-year-old Chota Devi, who learned the alphabet for the very first time thanks to the independence this job provided. A beautiful reminder that dreams have no age limit.

This project is largely funded by a CSR project in a village and hence no certifications.
